Driver Charged After Serious Crash in Kingsville
A 47-year-old Windsor man is facing multiple charges after a late-night collision in Kingsville that left another driver with life-threatening injuries.
Details of the Incident
Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash on County Road 20 at McCain Side Road just before 11 p.m. on Saturday. Emergency crews transported one of the drivers—a 65-year-old man from Windsor—to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
Charges and Penalties
The second driver, also from Windsor, was arrested at the scene and charged with several offences, including:
- Dangerous driving of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm
- Driving causing bodily harm
- Failing to start safely from a standstill
- Impaired driving
As part of the immediate consequences, his driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor in July to answer the charges.
