NFL Player Isaiah Adams Charged with Firearm Offenses
Isaiah Adams, a 25‑year‑old offensive lineman for the Arizona Cardinals, has been charged with several firearm‑related offences after a police investigation in Durham Region, Ontario.
Charges and Allegations
He faces four counts: possession of a firearm obtained by crime, possession of a restricted or prohibited firearm without a licence, possession of a loaded firearm, and possession of a prohibited device.
Background of the Investigation
On July 17, Durham Regional Police completed an investigation into a man believed to be in possession of a firearm and involved in drug trafficking. Officers arrested a man and a woman in a vehicle in Ajax, where they seized more than three kilograms of suspected fentanyl.
Subsequent execution of a search warrant at a home in Pickering resulted in the seizure of a loaded firearm equipped with a prohibited over‑capacity magazine and a replica Uzi‑style firearm. The firearm had been reported stolen in Georgia, according to police.

Co‑defendants
Allyson Mae Adams, 27, and Jaelin Jared Gamble, 27, both of Pickering, and Natasha Rotta, 32, of Ajax, are also facing multiple charges that include firearms offences, drug possession and drug trafficking.
Legal Proceedings and Representation
All four defendants were held for bail hearings; none of the allegations have been proven in court.
Isaiah Adams’s attorney, Adam Weisberg, denied the accusations, stating that his client is innocent, had no knowledge of the firearms and is fully exonerated.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur declined to discuss the case in detail but said Adams appeared to be doing well and was “fine.”
