Incident at Langley Twin Rinks

The leak was reported just before 7 a.m. at Langley Twin Rinks, located at 5700 Langley Bypass. The building was evacuated as a precaution, and the facility remained closed following the incident.

Langley City Fire Rescue Service responded to the scene. According to the city, a specialist response contractor was called in to address the situation, and the cause of the leak was identified.

Officials said the leak was contained in and around the building. The shelter-in-place order, which had been issued as a precautionary measure for nearby residents, was lifted early Friday afternoon.

The city confirmed that no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
