Toronto Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Woman Wanted in Connection with Fatal North York Incident
Toronto police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating 25-year-old Dzsenifer Olah, who is wanted on charges of second-degree murder following the death of 32-year-old Erik Safar early Sunday morning in North York.
The incident occurred around 6 a.m. on Sunday near the intersection of Keele Street and Wilson Avenue, where officers responded to reports of unknown disturbances. Upon arrival, they discovered that a man had been struck and hit by a vehicle during an altercation involving a group of people. Despite life-saving efforts, Safar was pronounced dead at the scene. A second individual sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.
This marks Toronto’s 14th homicide of 2026.
Two Suspects Already in Custody
Two men—Milan Andras Babos, 18, of Hamilton, and Richard Olah, 23, of Toronto—turned themselves in to police on Tuesday and were subsequently arrested and charged with second-degree murder. Both appeared at the Toronto Regional Bail Center the same day.
Third Suspect Identified
Following further investigation, police identified a third suspect: Dzsenifer Olah. Authorities have released her photo and are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward. It remains unclear whether there is any familial or personal connection between Dzsenifer Olah and co-accused Richard Olah.
Investigators believe an unknown number of suspects fled the scene in a light-colored vehicle.
