Toronto police seek suspect after weekend shooting in Scarborough

Police are searching for a 29‑year‑old Toronto man after gunfire erupted in the Morningside‑Old Finch Avenue area of northeast Scarborough on Saturday afternoon.
The shooting occurred around 3 p.m. after a confrontation between the suspect and the victim, during which the suspect produced a firearm and discharged it before fleeing the scene.
Officers have identified the wanted individual as Bernell Prince Galloway, who faces charges of discharging a firearm, possessing a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, and two counts of making threats to kill or cause bodily harm.
Galloway is described as 1.80 m tall, with short black hair and a dark beard.

Police appeal for information after scooter‑van collision in York
Collision details and driver request
Toronto police are asking the driver of a silver Dodge Ram pickup to contact them after an 11‑year‑old boy on a scooter collided with a parked silver van in York last week.
The collision took place around 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday near Dynevor Road and Rowan Avenue, when the boy lost control while travelling north on Dynevor and struck the van.
The boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police also want to locate the owner of the parked van.
