At the Marvel panel moderated by Kevin Feige, Canadian star Ryan Reynolds appeared dressed as a denim version of Deadpool, drawing attention from the audience.
When asked by the moderator to pose a question to the cast of “Avengers: Doomsday,” Reynolds quipped, “Long time listener, first time caller. That seems like a terribly expensive way to announce the film. When do you start filming?”
Robert Downey Jr., seated nearby, replied, “It’s in the can, bro. Look around. Did you hit your head?”
Reynolds followed up, “I see. So there are no additional photographs, no overages, no high costs—maybe last‑minute additions?” before exiting the room.
Social Media Reaction
Reynolds shared photos of his costume on Instagram Stories, referring to himself as “Jeanpool,” and praised fans and creators who build the world of cosplay.
On Twitter, he posted about the 10‑year legacy of Deadpool and the upcoming “Deadpool & Wolverine” film, thanking the community for their devotion.
New Deadpool Project Announced
Earlier this month, Reynolds revealed at Fanatics Fest that a new Deadpool movie is in development, noting that there are “deep cuts” missing from previous films and comics.
He highlighted collaborations with co‑creator Fabian Nicieza and writer Gerry Duggan, saying the upcoming story will feature “at least one more Deadpool movie” that will be “great.”
Reynolds did not specify whether the next film will focus solely on Deadpool or be part of a larger ensemble.
