Casualties and Damage in Iran

Iranian officials reported that at least eight people were killed and another twenty injured. The strikes damaged six bridges, a train station and several other sites, and disrupted power lines in Bandar Abbas and surrounding villages.

Iran’s Retaliatory Campaign

In response, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced a 13th wave of retaliatory attacks on American bases in Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Jordan and Syria. The IRGC said it destroyed an air‑control radar in Oman’s Ghanim region and a maritime radar in the Strait of Hormuz, and that a tanker was hit by an unknown projectile while sailing east of Khasab.

Regional Reactions and Diplomatic Calls

China and Pakistan Urge Ceasefire

Both Beijing and Islamabad called for an immediate ceasefire and the resumption of peace talks between the United States and Iran. China’s foreign minister urged all parties to honor the ceasefire memorandum of understanding and fulfill their obligations.

Military Movements in the Gulf

U.S. Central Command confirmed that American Marines boarded a merchant vessel in the Gulf of Oman on Thursday. The organization also noted that three ships attempting to evade the American “Steel Wall” blockade were redirected, and the Curaçao‑flagged oil tanker M/T Belma was taken out of service.

Impact on Neighboring Countries

Bahrain, Jordan and Other Allies

Air‑raid sirens sounded in Bahrain as Iranian projectiles fell, though all were intercepted. Jordan’s army reported shooting down three Iranian missiles aimed at its territory. A child in Doha was injured by falling shrapnel during the eavesdropping attacks over the Qatari capital.
