Jewish organization is calling for Palestine Action Canada to be listed as a terrorist organization after an alleged attack on an Ontario business

CIJA Urges Canada to List Palestine Action as Terrorist Organization

The Center for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) has called on the federal government to designate Palestine Action Canada (PAC) as a terrorist entity, pointing to an alleged attack on Dishon Limited in Concord, Ontario.

Alleged Attack on Dishon Limited

CIJA says a Sunday Instagram post from PAC admitted to targeting Dishon early that morning, claiming the group is “taking matters into our own hands.”

Dishon identifies itself as a world‑class supplier of precision machine components and assemblies to North America, Europe and Asia, serving both commercial and military aviation sectors.

National Post contacted Dishon and York Region police for comment but has not yet received a response.

PAC’s Statements and Claims

PAC declared that the machinery it alleges was sent to Elbit Systems Ltd., an Israeli defense contractor, “contributes to the production and maintenance of armored vehicles used by the IDF in ground attacks, such as IMI Systems’ CombatGuard and Merkava tank gun systems.”

The organization added that this assistance is made possible by the Canadian government despite a purported arms embargo, and said it is “tired of appealing to the ruling class.”

PAC’s statement also condemned what it calls “Canadian complicity in Israel’s genocide and ethnic cleansing campaigns in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon,” asserting that Canada’s involvement must end.

UK Designation and CIJA’s Prior Appeal

The United Kingdom has already proscribed Palestine Action under the Terrorism Act 2000, designating it a terrorist organization.

CIJA noted that the UK’s stance aligns with its own May call for Canada to list PAC as a terrorist entity, arguing that waiting for a direct threat to national security is no longer acceptable.

“At a time when Canada has rightly identified its defense industry as essential to our national and economic security, terrorists are taking matters into their own hands to harm companies and the Canadians they employ,” CIJA said in a recent post.

Supporters Gather Outside Woolwich Crown Court

On November 17, 2025, supporters of the suspected Palestine Action activists assembled outside Woolwich Crown Court in southeast London, holding placards and waving Palestinian flags.

The demonstration followed the August 2024 alleged break‑in at Elbit Systems’ Bristol premises, which CIJA says exemplifies the group’s willingness to act violently against perceived Israeli defense interests.
