Kylie Jenner Faces Third Workplace Lawsuit, This Time From Former Personal Chef

Less than two months after being sued by two former housekeepers, Kylie Jenner is now facing a third workplace lawsuit — this time from a former personal chef who alleges discrimination, harassment, emotional distress, wrongful termination, retaliation, and failure to pay fair wages.

The complaint was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on June 22, according to documents obtained by the Los Angeles Times and USA Today. Global News reached out to both the chef’s attorney, Della Shaker of Shaker Law Group, and a representative for Jenner but did not receive a response from either party.

Chef Alleges Miscarriage Caused by Heavy Workload

According to the filing, the woman was hired as Jenner’s private chef around Thanksgiving 2024. She claims that in December 2024, she informed her supervisors — who are also named as co-defendants in the lawsuit — that she was three months pregnant and needed “reasonable precautions to protect her health and pregnancy.”

Despite this disclosure, the chef alleges she was subjected to physically demanding tasks and verbal hostility from her superiors. The complaint states that in December 2024, she was instructed to “lift and transport heavy food across the street and up hills without assistance,” which led to a medical emergency.

The chef said she “became dizzy, started choking and gasping for air and required assistance from security guards” during the incident. According to USA Today, she further claimed that a manager “reprimanded” her for upsetting Jenner with her behavior.

Emotional Collapse at Palm Springs Event

In a separate incident, the chef claims she was forced to attend Jenner’s child’s birthday party in Palm Springs around February 1 but was not given “appropriate support.” The lawsuit states: “Due to the exhaustion and overwhelming physical strain, she emotionally collapsed in the bathroom during the event. That evening, due to the long and intense workload, she felt extreme physical fatigue and heaviness throughout her body.”

The next morning, the chef reported that she began losing blood and went to the hospital, where she was “told there was no detectable heartbeat and that she had lost her unborn child,” according to USA Today.

The chef claims that when she returned to work and disclosed the miscarriage, she was “falsely accused of leaving the kitchen and refrigerator in disarray following the Palm Springs incident.” The Los Angeles Times reports that she suffered severe depression and emotional distress following the miscarriage and claims a supervisor told her: “Stop, just stop. You’re upsetting Kylie. You’re making her depressed.”

Termination and Settlement Attempt

After the chef was fired, she sent a formal written complaint to her employer, Tri Star, alleging discrimination, harassment, and wage theft. The lawsuit states that on May 22, 2025, Tri Star’s management team sent the chef an email containing a settlement and release agreement. The former chef is now demanding unspecified damages.

Two Previous Housekeeper Lawsuits

The new lawsuit follows two previous employment discrimination lawsuits filed against Jenner by former housekeepers. Juana Delgado Soto, who worked as a housekeeper for the reality TV star for six years, filed a lawsuit against Jenner, Kylie Jenner Inc., human resources manager Itzel Sibrian, Tri Star Services, and La Maison Family Services, alleging racial discrimination, harassment, failure to pay wages, failure to prevent or remedy harassment and discrimination, wrongful termination, and more.

Soto’s lawsuit alleges that in April 2025, after “management repeatedly failed to address Soto’s concerns, she wrote a lengthy letter to Jenner detailing the harassment, discrimination and retaliation and placed it on Jenner’s massage bed immediately before her massage.” Soto claims that the next day she was “threatened with termination and told never to contact Jenner again.” She is seeking unspecified punitive and compensatory damages.

“On behalf of our clients, we want to make it clear: No employee — regardless of the power, wealth or fame of their employer — should ever be forced to endure unlawful working conditions, wage violations, retaliation, intimidation or abuse in the workplace,” Soto’s attorney Della Shaker previously said in a statement to Global News.

Shaker also represents Angelica Hernandez Vasquez, who has filed a separate lawsuit against Kylie Jenner Inc., Tri Star Services, and La Maison Family Services. Vasquez claims she was subjected to “severe and pervasive harassment” while working at the beauty mogul’s Hidden Hills, California, residence from September 2024 to August 2025.

Vasquez alleges the defendants failed to pay her in full, paid her late, failed to pay overtime wages, and failed to reimburse business expenses. She is requesting a jury trial and seeking damages “in the form of unpaid wages, meal and rest bonuses, unreimbursed business expenses, unpaid sick leave and any other compensation unlawfully withheld.”
