Police responded to an unknown 911 call in the area of Keele Street and Wilson Avenue around 6 a.m. that day. A group of people were arguing when an adult male was struck by a vehicle. Despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Teenagers approached in Hamilton

Hamilton Police are asking for the public’s help after two suspicious vehicle incidents involving juveniles in the Marion Street area.

Around 9:45 a.m. Thursday, a black SUV struck a female juvenile in the area of Marion and Spitfire Drive. The vehicle was driven by a woman with a man in the passenger seat. Police said the driver engaged the teen in a conversation about dating the male passenger. The teen said she had a boyfriend and walked away.

Around 9:10 a.m. Friday, a white SUV was seen in the Marion-Longview Court area, again driven by a woman with a man in the passenger seat. The driver attempted to engage another young woman in conversation, but she did not approach the vehicle and immediately left.

Although the vehicles were different colors, police said similar descriptions were given for the female driver and passenger in both incidents.

The female is described as being of East Indian descent with brown skin, approximately 47 to 60 years old, with long black hair tied in a low ponytail, unkempt hair in the front, and brown eyes. She wore glasses, a black shirt, and a gray cardigan.

The man is described as being of East Indian descent with brown skin, about 32 to 47 years old, with a large build, thick black curly hair, a large black curly beard, and dark eyes. He was wearing a black T-shirt.

Hamilton Police are asking residents and motorists in the area to review any video footage from the time of these incidents.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 905-546-3886 or anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
