Earlier in the year, several provincial liquor boards halted purchases of American alcohol in reaction to Trump’s earlier tariff threats and annexation remarks.
Saskatchewan and Alberta later reinstated U.S. spirits after a short pause, while Ontario and Quebec have continued to keep American products off their shelves.
